Grand Option is a Cyprus based binary options vendor owned by Rodeler Limited, the same company that owns 24 Option. Opening its virtual gates in 2014, Grand Option is a fairly new addition to the assortment of binary option sites online. The platform is available in English, Italian, Russian and Turkish.

The trading platform

The platform offered by Grand Option comes form Scipio is a bit different than what I’m used to from other binary options brokers, but that doesn’t mean that it takes ages to figure out or that it is a superior or inferior platform compared to the norm – it is just different (and not by much). If you have used the Tech Financial platform, you will recognize a lot.

At Grand Option, you find option types listed to the left of the main trading area. Select an option type and the underlying. Underlyings can be filtered via the drop down category menu.

With standard binary options, the expiry time is predefined. With short-term binary options, you need to select an expiry time manually.

An updated price graph is displayed on the right hand side once you have configured the binary option.

Payout

For standard binary options, the payout is up to 88%. There are also special binary options available where the payout is 100%.

Charting

The price graph can be amended by updating the time scales. Technical analysis tools are available and will open in a separate charting window if you give the command.

Mobile trading apps

Grand Option has one mobile trading app for Android (download it from Google Play) and one mobile trading app for iOS (download it from iPhone App Store). Using them are easy and the layout works well even on small screens.

Transactions

Smallest possible deposit is 250 GBP or a rough equivalent in USD, EUR or JPY. Once you have chosen a currency for your account, you can not change your account currency.

Examples of available transaction methods are major credit and debit cards. Bank transfers are also possible but only if you deposit at least 1,000 GPB (or other currency equivalent).

With a standard Grand Option trading account, you get to make your first withdrawal without paying any withdrawal fee. If you have a Superior Account or a VIP Account, you will be allowed to make more free withdrawals.

The withdrawal fee vary depending on which transaction method you use, and sometimes also the size of the withdrawal. A withdrawal through Skrill will for instance cost 2% of the withdrawn amount, while the fee for a bank transfer is fixed at $30 (or other currency equivalent).
